#316 Children in Need 2022 – 18th November 2022.
Why you should read?
Yesterday was BBC children in need … This post explains a brief summary of who children in need helps, and why it is important.
Summary
Children In need is a fundraising organisation for over 2400 local projects and charities. In the last year, over 460,000 disadvantaged children and young people were helped. Fundraising initiatives include sponsored walks, cycles, and bake sales. Since it’s first major fundraiser in 1980, BBC Children in Need has raised over £1 billion to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the UK. Remember you can raise money using a cause local to you in your country, even if you are from outside the UK.
How can I help?
Step 1 What are you interested in?
Note down what you are interested in.
Step 2 Make it a “challenge”
Ensure the event is long or tricky enough to make it a real challenge.
Step 3 Make it spotty
Wear spots, paint spots, or simply include spots in the environment where you take on the challenge. Ensure you use all the spots to represent the cause!!
Step 4 Collect some money.
Collect money using the DIY Pudsey moneybox, set up JustGiving fundraising page, or use a free downloadable sponsorship form. Find further details on the official website https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/
Step 5 – Have I missed it?
I know children in need was yesterday, but why wait planning your fundraising challenge to participate in next year, or use the tag @BBCCiN to help raise awareness throughout the year. Plan a walk here Get sponsored for your Countryfile Ramble – BBC Children in Need

Closing statement
Reaseaorg blog is working on its content to enhance viewer experience. Over the previous few years, we have been gaining momentum until recently, and are currently looking at ways to continue to improve user experience of our blog.
We deeply thank all 105 of our followers, especially those who are still reading at this point in this article. You really do shape our content, and maintain our focus on producing content which appeals to our audience. Based on WordPress insights, we have learnt that certain types of product reviews are most popular, and our movie reviews are in need of the greatest modification to enhance viewing statistics.
Please feel free to advertise related content in the comments below, but all I ask is that you please be respectful. I have had some comments in the previous few months, which have gone against the spirit of my blog.
That is to be a friendly place for fans of Horror, movies, drinks, and adventures, and particularly those who are interested in writing or reading engaging content.
It is not a place for those who posted links of an explicit nature, reducing visibility of helpful comments, providing insight for my future blog writing.
I thank all of those who have liked my articles, but I won’t ask you to press like on any of my content, unless you do actually like it, as it helps me to gather further accurate information about the types of articles you, the reader, actually would like to see moving forward.
Please comment below with ideas for future content, or any thoughts not covered by the points outlined above.
I will continue to post this statement on articles to come, to ensure optimal visibility for viewers. A big thank you to Neil Patel, for producing a helpful video on search engine optimisation (SEO), to assist my content popularity. I hope it helps anyone else who has content online to get their voice heard, be it through writing or video, or other creative forms of expression online.
Based on insights gained, I have increased my blog content article length, introduced a “food for thought” section to encourage creator-viewer engagement, introduced a “why you should read” tag-line under each article title, added a closing statement which will be used on future articles for the same purpose of updating you on how the blog is progressing, and increased content from my critical eye.

Thanks for this information 💯💯
Me, I do have fundraising plans, but I don’t know how to get started.
There are Children in my community that aren’t in school and I would love to help out…
Still, I don’t know if it will affect my studies…

I think creating a https://www.justgiving.com/ page is a good place to start. Follow the steps in my article to develop your idea a little and then try to invite as many people to help you as you can to hit a target you set 🙂

Years ago, in the early nineties when I was in my teens, I remember sponsoring a child in need. I had sent/donated money on one occasion to help her situation.
At the time I did not keep it up after the first payment of twenty-dollars because with that particular organization I wondered if the money was really going to where it was supposed to go.

Interesting point. I think by law only 10% donations actually need to go to the cause, but at least some gets there, and what doesn’t in some way supports others which is still a good thing to do. I guess the only way to guarantee would be to give direct to the person, and actually some of that may go on drugs or alcohol and not actually what the person needs to improve their situation, yet with organisations they can invest in infrastructure like water pumps etc to actually help …
