Introduction
Hello fellow, fellows. Enjoy my first restaurant review below !!
I visited the Green room restaurant Colchester for a meal out with family.
Summary
I was immediately made to feel welcome by friendly staff. I opted for the chicken supreme, followed by the rhubarb crumble. The chicken was perfectly cooked and well presented. It tasted great. Portion size was ideal as was filling, yet not too substantial for multiple courses. As it was a social occasion, it was good staff were not interrupting by being too attentive.
The dessert tasted good, and had a combination of crunchy and smooth textures. The tart was a bit hard to cut with a spoon as was crispy, whilst this wasn’t to my preference, I understand some may like it more crunchy. P.s I prefer a “short” texture.
Overall very nice meal. Prices were appropriate for quality, but of course this is a restaurant, so prices are not cheap. Ballpark £15-20 mains and 5-7 desserts.
