The Good

“Original plot”.

“Action packed”.

“Frequent setting changes”.

“Well acted”.

The Bad

“Repetitive at times”.

“Slow at times”.

Introduction

Whilst I wouldn’t usually review movies in this genre, it was recommended to me by a fellow student at my university, who had seen it. Bit of internet research, and it turns out the prior ratings are quite good. Worth a review therefore I reckon …

Four Lions is a 2010 Comedy/Crime/Drama, according to IMDb.

Impact

From the off, comedy was apparent and lightly amusing. Whilst the film wasn’t hilarious at every turn, it did benefit from originality, from my perspective, at least. It is worth noting, this isn’t a movie for those who take everything seriously, or for the obsessive politically correct, however it works well from a light-hearted perspective.

Scenery was frequently changed, and relationship dynamics were well portrayed.

Whilst events became a little less entertaining, regular action resumed before the ending, however events became a little repetitive.

Conclusion

Witty in places, lost my interest at times.
