The Wolf of snow hollow is a 2020 (Comedy/Horror/Mystery) movie, according to IMDb.

The Good

“Mystery element featured”.

“Good use of darkness and effects at times”.

“Acting was good”.

“Grading used well”.

“Music contrasts were effective”.

“Clear plot”.

The Bad

“Lack of close up camera shots”.

“Tension often cut too early”.

“Predictable plot at times”.

Many horror mechanisms were used effectively, including facial expressions enhanced by close camera shots, darkness at times of suspense, music volume changes, and evidence of the unusual.

Beautiful montane scenery was shown to enhance viewer experience.

Clear plot was evident from the word go, including a mystery which involved key Horror elements.

Whilst grading was used well to slowly reveal the identity of evil, close up camera work wasn’t frequently used as the film progressed. This detracted a little from the tension in exciting moments.

Towards the end, effects worked a little more effectively, with close up camerawork revealing well acted emotional expression.

Entertaining, with some tension at times.
