Should I watch?

YES, you definitely should …

Introduction

Unhinged is a 2020 Action/Thriller movie. Whilst this isn’t a pure Horror, I decided to review, due to the recommendation from TheForkingTruth. See her blog linked below (sources). Thanks so much for the suggestion, and I remain open to requests from any readers. Especially those who don’t enrage me whilst driving on the road (only kidding).

Impact

Troubled characters and tension were immediately present, with an action-packed hook. Darker themes firmly cemented the film as a Horror, with Horror elements quickly emerging, including torture.

The film painted a clear picture of the family situation, encouraging the viewer to develop a sense of connection to the characters.

Light-hearted humour featured on occasion too…

Tension was fluctuated, using frequent variation in perceived threat level, which worked well. Since this was classed as a Thriller, sufficient time wasn’t taken to ensure tension peaked at the high level one would expect, from a Horror. Violence and gore featured frequently, especially towards the end.

Action scenes had enough variation, and whilst some scenes weren’t totally believable, the character helplessness played into the movies’ entertainment value …

Summary

Action throughout, intermittent tension. Not totally believable, sometimes predictable.

Should I watch?

YES, you definitely should …

Closing statement

Reaseaorg blog is working on its content to enhance viewer experience. Over the previous few years, we have been gaining momentum until recently, and are currently looking at ways to continue to improve user experience of our blog.

We deeply thank all 190 of our followers, especially those who are still reading at this point in this article. You really do shape our content, and maintain our focus on producing content which appeals to our audience. Based on WordPress insights, we have learnt that certain types of product reviews are most popular. Fortunately, all recent blog posts appear to have increased in popularity considerably, regardless of the focus topic of the article. This is a real improvement, which will help to vary future content.

Please feel free to advertise related content in the comments below, but all I ask is that you please be respectful. I have had some comments in the previous few months, which have gone against the spirit of my blog.

That is to be a friendly place for fans of Horror, movies, drinks, and adventures, and particularly those who are interested in writing or reading engaging content.

It is not a place for those who posted links of an explicit nature, reducing visibility of helpful comments, providing insight for my future blog writing.

I thank all of those who have liked my articles, but I won’t ask you to press like on any of my content, unless you do actually like it, as it helps me to gather further accurate information about the types of articles you, the reader, actually would like to see moving forward.

Please comment below with ideas for future content, or any thoughts not covered by the points outlined above.

I will continue to post this statement on articles to come, to ensure optimal visibility for viewers. A big thank you to Neil Patel, for producing a helpful video on search engine optimisation (SEO), to assist my content popularity. I hope it helps anyone else who has content online to get their voice heard, be it through writing or video, or other creative forms of expression online.

Based on insights gained, I have increased my blog content article length, introduced a “food for thought” section to encourage creator-viewer engagement, introduced a “why you should read” tag-line under each article title, added a closing statement which will be used on future articles for the same purpose of updating you on how the blog is progressing, and increased content from my critical eye.

  1. Sounds interesting. As for being predictable and not believable sometimes, I find that with a lot of horror movies. Like some of them just become really unrealistic and that sort of ruins it for me.
