Jennifer’s body 2009 movie review – “A good Halloween film” – (6.5/10).
Introduction
With Halloween fast approaching, we all need a good Horror fix !!
Jennifer’s body is a 2009 Comedy/Horror, so fits the bill.
Style
The movie was told from the perspective of the main character and immediately was action packed. The scene was clearly set, and scenery changed frequently. Mystery was established clearly, and the main character demonstrated believable emotions. Themes continued well, and
tension was raised nicely, with some disturbing gore at times. So much so, it tempted me to look away. Only the total plot predictability was unfortunate.
The comedy element certainly wasn’t clear, with the odd exception.
Scenery and costume appeared well done, and aligned well with the story.
Overall it seemed a good Halloween film …
