- Unusual camera angles to put you on edge.
- Mystery element present throughout.
- Evil manifestations present.
- Lighting and sound effects used.
- Never really knowing where evil lies.
- Ending leaves some questions and makes you think.
Bad points
- Evil isn’t expressed clearly, or strikingly enough.
- Not enough emotions.
- Not enough tension building.
- Infrequent horror events at times.
- One dimensional setting.
- Ending too ambiguous to impress.
Conclusion
Devil is a tale told to represent the evil and good in people. The tale is told effectively through a clear narrative to understand. Unfortunately, the spectacle is lacking due to one dimensional settings, acting, and a lack of truly scary sights throughout. More of a mystery, than any other genre.
