Staff
The staff were attentive, since they removed my duvet which I left aside. This allowed use of a bedsheet instead. Staff were very friendly during greetings.
Room
The room felt homely, if decor was a little dated. Sparkling water was well replaced.
There was an interesting key system of handing in your key every time you pass reception, and collecting on your return. This worked well…
Tea provisions
There weren’t any. Whilst I like a nice cup of tea, the complementary fizzy water bottle was suitable as a continental alternative.
Breakfast
Cold meats and smoked salmon were provided, with some bread and cheese. Additionally, there were sausages, bacon, and scrambled egg, as cooked options.
The bed
It was comfy and not too warm in august, if just a bedsheet was used.
Bin space
Plenty of bin space was available.
Storage
5 hangers were provided, which was sufficient for one guest. Adequate drawer space was evident too.
Location
Hotel location was central, and therefore clothing and food stores were easily accessible.
Summary
A single room without air conditioning, which was practically useable in 30 degree temperatures. Would recommend based on the above sentiments.
